Grandfather Mountain Highland Games

Thursday July 6: At dusk, we gather at our Clan MacDougall tents in MacRae Meadows to watch the Opening Ceremonies of the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.
Friday and Saturday, July 7 and 8: Spend the day enjoying all the festival has to offer. The Society Clan tents will be staffed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Refreshments will be available to Society members in our Hospitality tent.
Saturday evening: Come enjoy our Annual Founders Dinner at Dan’l Boone Inn, a historic location at 130 Hardin St, Boone, NC 28607-5388. You may register either by mail or online. Seating is limited. Reserve your place as soon as possible!
